# Blog Entry: How often do people really cheat during online pre-employment tests? 

## Summary
Unproctored Internet Testing (UIT) is used by employers around the globe for pre-employment testing to avoid bad hires and concentrate their efforts on the best candidates. But how many candidates cheat on their unproctored tests? A long overdue research study published in the Journal of Business Psychology shows that the percentage of cheaters is surprisingly low.
