About the test

The AWS Aurora Database Administration (Short) test is designed to measure the knowledge and skills of job candidates and employees in administering and managing AWS Aurora databases, with a primary focus on configuration, maintenance, and operations. The test evaluates key areas including Aurora Cluster Architecture, Endpoints and Connections, Backup, Snapshots, and Recovery, Failover and High Availability, Scaling, and Monitoring and Performance, covering topics such as cluster architecture, parameter groups, failover mechanisms, read replica scaling, CloudWatch monitoring, security configuration, encryption, and Performance Insights. Questions are presented in Essay Composition, Multiple Choice, and Multiple Correct Answer formats, with some questions featuring individual time limits to discourage cheating and improve predictive accuracy, and one or more questions scored using artificial intelligence. To further ensure integrity and reliability of results, the test draws questions from a large pool to minimize the risk of cheating.
