The In-Home Dialysis Technician assessment is designed to evaluate the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level to mid-level In-Home Dialysis Technicians to effectively perform tasks encountered during home dialysis treatment. The test measures candidate and employee proficiency across key skill areas including Dialysis Machine Setup, Operation, and Maintenance, Infection Control and Sterile Technique, Patient Monitoring and Complication Recognition, Access Site Care and Monitoring, Patient and Family Education, and Documentation, Supply Management, and Regulatory Compliance. Questions are presented in Essay Composition, Multiple Choice, and Multiple Correct Answer formats, and are drawn from a large pool to minimize the risk of cheating.
