About the test
The Adobe Acrobat - Usage and Concepts assessment is designed to measure the knowledge and skills required to effectively view, edit, and manage PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat. It evaluates a wide range of competencies, including viewing and navigating PDF documents, editing text and images, creating and combining files, commenting and annotating documents, filling out forms and adding signatures, and protecting, saving, and exporting documents. The test also covers key concepts such as organizing pages, searching text, adding bookmarks, reducing file size, performing OCR on scanned pages, and understanding the menus, tools, panels, and terminology associated with Adobe Acrobat.
The assessment presents candidates with Multiple Choice and Multiple Correct Answer questions drawn from a large question pool to help ensure the integrity of results and reduce the risk of cheating. Certain questions are also timed to further discourage dishonest behavior and to enhance the predictive accuracy of the assessment. This test is well-suited for evaluating job candidates and employees whose roles require proficiency in working with PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat.

Following completion, the test produces a Candidate Selection Report that includes an overall score and detailed scores for each attribute.
The Candidate Selection Report also provides expert interview questions that help you probe critical or low-scoring areas, along with a guide for noting your evaluation of the candidate's responses. Consistent use of an interview guide is an important part of gaining better candidate insights and making better hiring decisions.
Note that while the Adobe Acrobat - Usage and Concepts assessment is a useful and efficient instrument for confirming a base level of skill or knowledge about this important topic, it is not intended to pinpoint the exact level of candidate or skill. We recommend that skills tests, like this one, be used in parallel with other measurements, such as cognitive ability, job fit, and behavioral history. Each different type of test provides a valuable piece of information you can use when evaluating potential job performance.
