# Comprehensive Written English (US English) Assessment

## Description
The Comprehensive Written English (US English) assessment is a Skills/Knowledge Assessment designed to evaluate candidates' and employees' proficiency in written English across a broad range of language competencies. It serves multiple purposes, including pre-hire selection, employee development, and promotion selection, making it a versatile tool for assessing English language skills at various stages of employment. The assessment measures abilities and skills across six key areas: Spelling, Proofreading, Grammar (covering sentence structure, commas, semicolons, punctuation, contractions, conjunctions, subject/verb agreement, proper nouns, and common mistakes), English Word Usage (including nouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, and pronouns), Reading Comprehension, and Writing. Questions are presented in a variety of formats, including essay composition, fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, and multiple correct answer, with some questions featuring time limits and AI-assisted scoring to enhance accuracy and predictive performance. To further ensure the integrity of results, questions are drawn from a large pool to minimize the risk of cheating.
