## Description
Evaluates the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level to mid-level commercial plumbers to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial properties. Measures understanding of pipe materials, fittings, and joining methods used in water supply and drainage systems. Tests knowledge of blueprints and how to read and interpret them for layout and installation of plumbing systems. Evaluates understanding of codes and regulations governing plumbing in commercial buildings. Gauges knowledge of tools and equipment used in cutting, threading, and joining pipe. Tests ability to identify and repair leaks, blockages, and failures in supply and drainage systems. Measures understanding of water heaters, pumps, and fixtures found in commercial settings. Evaluates knowledge of backflow prevention and cross-connection control. Checks understanding of venting systems and their role in drainage. Tests knowledge of valves, their types, and their functions in plumbing systems. Measures understanding of pressure testing and inspection procedures. Gauges knowledge of maintenance practices for plumbing systems in commercial buildings. Checks understanding of safety practices relevant to plumbing work in commercial environments.
