# C++ Programming (Short) Assessment

## Description
The C++ Programming (Short) test is designed to evaluate the knowledge and skills of entry-level to mid-level programmers in writing, debugging, deploying, and maintaining business applications using C++. It measures proficiency across six key areas: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in C++, Memory Management and Pointers, Standard Template Library (STL), Control Flow, Functions, and Program Structure, Error Handling, Debugging, and Exception Management, and Data Types, Variables, and the Type System. The assessment covers a broad range of topics including classes, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, pointers, references, memory allocation, STL containers, iterators, algorithms, file I/O, string manipulation, exception handling, compiler errors, debugging techniques, namespaces, templates, operator overloading, preprocessor directives, and more.

The test presents candidates with Multiple Choice, Multiple Correct Answer, and Essay Composition questions drawn from a large question pool to minimize the risk of cheating. One or more questions are scored using artificial intelligence, and certain questions are subject to individual time limits to further deter dishonesty and enhance the predictive validity of results. Together, these features make the C++ Programming (Short) test a comprehensive and secure tool for assessing real-world C++ skill in a professional context.
