# Javascript Programming (Web) Assessment

## Description
The Javascript Web Programming assessment is designed to evaluate the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level to mid-level programmers to write, debug, and maintain elements of client-side web applications using standard browser-based JavaScript processing engines. The test measures candidate and employee proficiency across five key skill areas: Variables, Scope, and Data Structures; Functions, Classes, and Modules; DOM Manipulation and Browser Events; Asynchronous JavaScript and Fetch API; and Error Handling and Debugging. Questions are delivered in Essay Composition, Multiple Choice, and Multiple Correct Answer formats, with questions drawn from a large pool to reduce the risk of cheating, and select questions are subject to individual time limits to further deter dishonesty and improve predictive accuracy. AI-assisted scoring is applied to one or more questions to ensure consistent and objective evaluation of candidate responses.
