# HTML Programming (Short) Assessment

## Description
The HTML Programming (Short) assessment is designed to measure the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level to mid-level programmers to write and maintain webpages for business websites using the standard modern specification of HTML. The test evaluates a comprehensive range of skill areas, including HTML Document Structure and Head Configuration, Content Layout and Structural Elements, Hyperlinks, Images, and Media Elements, HTML Forms and Input Elements, and Attributes, Accessibility, and Validation. It assesses candidates' comprehension of document structures, doctype declarations, head elements, content layout using headers, paragraphs, lists, and structural elements, the configuration of hyperlinks, text marks, and image elements, the creation of forms using input fields, selection menus, buttons, and labels, and the integration of attributes for accessibility compliance, stylesheet and script referencing, and markup validation.

The assessment uses a variety of question formats, including Essay Composition, Multiple Choice, and Multiple Correct Answer questions, to thoroughly gauge candidate proficiency across all measured skill areas. Questions are drawn from a large pool to minimize the risk of cheating, and one or more questions include time limits to further prevent dishonesty and improve predictive performance. Additionally, the test incorporates artificial intelligence in the scoring of one or more questions, ensuring a modern and accurate evaluation of each candidate's HTML programming capabilities.
