# JSON Syntax and Usage Assessment

## Description
The JSON Syntax and Usage assessment is designed to evaluate the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level to mid-level Information Technology personnel to define and use data in JSON form within business applications, covering areas such as JSON Data Types, JSON Syntax Rules, Key-Value Pair Structure, Nested Objects and Arrays, Identifying and Correcting JSON Errors, and String Encoding and Escape Characters. The test measures skills related to identifying and applying syntax rules, constructing and interpreting objects and arrays, validating JSON documents, understanding data relationships through nested structures, and recognizing the limitations and distinctions of JSON compared to other data formats. Questions are drawn from a large pool to help prevent cheating and are presented in Multiple Choice, Multiple Correct Answer, and Essay Composition formats, with one or more questions featuring time limits to further deter cheating and improve predictive performance. AI-assisted scoring is used for one or more questions to ensure accurate and consistent evaluation of candidate responses.
