# Identity and Access Management (IAM) Concepts Assessment

## Description
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Concepts assessment is designed to measure the knowledge and skills of entry-level to mid-level IT professionals in the principles and practices of IAM. The test evaluates critical focus areas including Authentication Methods, Authorization and Access Control Models, User Account Lifecycle Management, Directory Services and Identity Stores, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Auditing, Logging, and Access Reviews. It assesses candidates' understanding of authentication techniques such as passwords, multi-factor authentication, and single sign-on, as well as authorization models including role-based access control, least privilege, and segregation of duties. The assessment also gauges the ability to manage user accounts through provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning, and to recognize access control failures or misconfigurations.
