# Carpentry (Commercial) Assessment

## Description
The Carpentry (Commercial) test is designed to measure the knowledge and skills of job candidates and employees in the principles and common practices of commercial carpentry, from entry-level to mid-level proficiency. It evaluates key skill areas including Blueprint and Drawing Interpretation, Framing Techniques, Materials Knowledge and Selection, Safety Practices and Procedures, Door and Window Installation, and Building Codes and Regulations. The test also covers broader competencies such as tool and equipment use, concrete formwork, interior finish work, mathematical calculations, trade coordination, and inspection and repair of existing commercial structures.

The assessment uses a variety of question formats, including Multiple Choice, Multiple Correct Answer, and Essay Composition questions, with some questions incorporating artificial intelligence in scoring and others featuring time limits to enhance predictive performance and deter cheating. Questions are drawn from a large pool to further reduce the risk of cheating, ensuring a fair and reliable evaluation for each candidate.
