The Emotional Intelligence (EQ) assessment is designed to measure how well a candidate or employee functions in the presence of strong emotions either within himself or herself, or others. Many jobs require individuals to work with, support, or influence others. The ability to understand how someone else if feeling and adapt your behavior as a result can help improve overall performance. Likewise, the ability to understand ones own feelings and control how one acts in response to strong feelings or emotions can also be very effective.

This test is mobile ready and operates on desktops, laptops and most modern mobile devices.

The Emotional Intelligence assessment measures the following scales:

  • Empathy
  • Emotional Self-Awareness
  • Emotional Self-Control

The results report provides a description of each scale, as well as sample interview questions to help hiring managers probe areas in which the score causes a concern.
